They wanted a new style of music for the new technological age in which they were living at the start of the 20th Century. They demanded new types of art, music and writing to be inspired by the sounds&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Futurists<\/a>&rsquo;. They wanted to inspire people to make music that reflected the new industrial world of big ships, trains, cars and factories. He argued that all sounds should be used,&nbsp;&ldquo;We must break out of this narrow circle of pure musical sounds, and conquer the infinite variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/ears2.eu\/nb\/encyclopedianb\/noise\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Objects that vibrate in a randomised fashion produce sounds that we describe as noisy. This is because the sounds produced contain a random assortment of frequencies. Advanced A term that describes sounds that have a diffuse spread of spectral energy. It is often contrasted with pitched sounds.
