He argued that all sounds should be used,&nbsp;&ldquo;We must break out of this narrow circle of pure musical sounds, and conquer&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Luigi Russolo<\/a>, the leaflet argued that traditional orchestras limited themselves to only four or five different types of sounds:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Instruments played with the bow,<\/li>\n<li>Plucked instruments,<\/li>\n<li>Brass instruments,<\/li>\n<li>Woodwinds, and<\/li>\n<li>Percussion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>He demanded: &ldquo;We must break out of this narrow circle of pure musical sounds, and conquer the infinite variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/ears2.eu\/nb\/encyclopedianb\/noise\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Objects that vibrate in a randomised fashion produce sounds that we describe as noisy.
